... Memorize ... It was a time when the communists were in power. I know, when you hear "communists" here you get chills in your spine. The anti communist propaganda was as strong as communistic brain wash in Russia. Do you know how many people were killed in America only because they had similar ideas? You probably don't, because they didn't want you to know. Read Noam Chomsky's "The Year 501". Yugoslavia broke it's ties with Russia in 1948, when Tito said his historic "No". I was always grateful for that. Believe it or not, I never felt anything like being suppressed by the "regime". I felt safe, happy, and free, like many people. Perhaps, because I wasn't into politics at all. Perhaps that's why I have such good memories about it all... |
