Konak (living quarters) of the Josanica Monastery has been renovated in recent years. This type of buildings typically accompany monasteries, and serve as living and sleeping quarters for the monks  living and practicing religion in these usually isolated, quiet areas.  This particular one has elements of typical Serbian old houses.
