... Flow ... One line subcategory presents drawings done in only one continuous line. This concept is loosely based on memories about solving childhood puzzles made of series of numbers, which by connecting them in an orderly manner give an outline of a figure. Here, the line never crosses itself and the intent is to give to the line the qualities that will create the final image with all characteristics of a three dimensional illusion – form, light and shadow, texture, volume. The themes include mainly portraits and wild life but are not limited to that. Portraits are made either based on actual pictures or as a fiction. |
