In drawings, I like pencil on white paper the most. To me the two have
the best balance in shades. The black ink often looks too contrasting and
aggressive on white. Pencil gives you control over the most subtle shades.
In colour, I like drawing with pastels, both dry and oil. Depending how it's
used, oil pastels give you the impression of oil painting, they are heavier,
deeper, in some way more passionate. Dry pastels, however, to me are far
more gentle and sophisticated.
I like many motifs, from abstract and futuristic, to nature and wild life.
The movement, gestures, and expressions are however the most attractive to
me. Like many, I'm fascinated with faces.
